Indian Dental Association, Trivandrum branch initiated the creation of an online platform that aims at bridging the gaps in faculty availability across various dental clinics of our members. The platform had invited registrations from undergraduate and post graduate dental surgeons who were seeking new opportunities to practice. Dental Assistants seeking for placements were also included. The idea of settling the shortage of faculty was worked out through encouraging our members with dental clinics and faculty requirements to register in the platform. Timely advertisements were made through the whatsapp groups of IDA Trivandrum and other dental groups. Applicants were scrutinised on the basis of degree certificate and experience. Dental assistants were appointed on the basis of their previous experience.
